 Jesus answered, “You would have no power over me if it were not given to you from above. Therefore the one who handed me over to you is guilty of a greater sin.” John 19:11
When he had received the drink, Jesus said, “It is finished.” With that, he bowed his head and gave up his spirit. John 19:20 

 
Talking about surrender? Even the Son of God gave up His own life, in order for us to have eternal life. In John 19:11, it says that Pilate did not have the authority over Jesus, unless it had been given to him from GOD.
No one was able to hurt Jesus Christ. Rather, He gave Himself for men. He did surrender His own life.
In verse 19:30, it says that He bowed His head and GAVE UP His Spirit. No once was able to crucify Jesus, unless it was permitted.

Surrendering is not an indication of weakness, but rather strength. When we surrender, we are unlocking God's grace and mercy to overflow in our lives. God's grace never fails, but we can fail to depend on it.

How many times we have heardthat when people surrendered their lives, great things come out of it?
Great examples of those who surrendered include; Jesus Christ surrendered His life and all who belive are saved and have eternal life. Abraham, Mosses, Joseph, Peter, Paul, David, Daniel, Esther, Ruth, and many more.


Then Jesus said to his disciples, “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me. For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will find it.  (Matthew 16:24-25)

Surrender our desires ~ God changes them with His marvelous desires

His dream and His desire for our lives are beyond my wildest imagination.

Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us (Ephesians 3:20)

The MORE we surrender, the MORE God can transform our lives to be MORE like His Son, Jesus Christ.
